課程概述

這門課是開給中文系國際學士班一年級的學生，希望能夠引導班上外籍學生有系統地認識漢語。課上將討論漢語的音韻系統、構詞系統、句法系統、語用特性等。每週都有一個特定的主題（詳見每週進度），採用教師自編講義，學生每週上課前兩天自行到ceiba網頁下載，並以邵敬敏所著《現代漢語通論》為主要參考用書。課上除由教師講述各語言現象，並視情況安排課後作業。希望透過這樣的方式，學生能夠切實理解所學，並將之運用於日常語言分析，培養出一定的語言觀察力和警覺性。
This class is designed for international freshmen of the Department of Chinese Literature, and aim to help them to systematically understand and grasp the essentials of Chinese linguistics. We shall discuss the following topics of Chinese: phonology, morphology, syntax, pragmatics, etc. Basically there will be one topic for each week (see the syllabus below), and the students should download the handouts from the CEIBA system every week. Each class includes lecturing the linguistic phenomena, practicing various kinds of linguistic analysis, and occasionally assigning a certain amount of home works. In this way, the student shall be equipped with rigid knowledge of Chinese linguistics, and be able to observe and analyze everyday language more acutely.

After proper study, the student shall: 1. grasp the regularities of Chinese language; 2. be able to analyze everyday language; 3. be more observant of Chinese; 4. be more aware of improper or incorrect usage.

課程要求

1. 準時上課、不無故缺席。
2. 課前充分準備，課堂上積極參與討論。
3. 準時繳交作業，作業遲交一週扣十分。
4. 親自撰寫作業或報告。如有抄襲，經查證屬實，該項成績一律以零分計。
The requirements for the students: 1. be punctual; 2. prepare before the class and discuss in the class; 3. hand out the assignments on time; 4. do the homework personally.
